    Lightbulb Blinking Third Brake light

I bought a Kahtec http://www.kahtec.com Delay blinking system for around $25. Had my little 4 year old helper once again helping me out and pressing the brake pedal for the video below. Surprisenly the thrid brake light can come out with out removing the whole headliner. It is pretty simple, two clips hold the light up, pull down hard on the plastic close to the window and headliner and it will pop off like old door panel clips. Attached the three wires from the Kahtec box, snipped the blue wire and put it all back together. Enjoy the short vid below.

    Yes, It's a Delay

So When you first step on the brake it will flash. Say you then let go to inch up a little and then press the brake again it wont flash. If you let off the brakes for ten seconds or more it resets to flash again.

They do make another model that doesn't do the delay, and flashes everytime. I opted to not get that one.

You know it, he's growing up fast. Had him sitting in the drivers seat pushing the brake pedal. Daddies little helper! He told me he wanted to do restore a VW bug like I did when I was a kid. If we ever do it's gonna be a rag top.
