Tech support called me back today and was exactly as I figured. They said there was no way their module would cause a problem like I have. They said they would be willing to send me the non delay version to try. F#%k that. They pretty much said they would replace the unit but not the damage to the car. Hope the dealer can fix this

Ok car is fixed. Dealer replaced the bcm like you guys said. Thankfully it was covered with warranty. I think i am going to let this mod pass me up. Apparently this is the only module that has ever caused a problem to a car, what the tech support said anyhow. They offered a replacement but i had to pass.

Installed mine tonight, did it a bit different than shown above.
    - pulled back passenger C pillar cover (removed screw)
    - removed oh-chit handle above pass side rear door
    - pulled down headliner enough to get to taped /hot glued pair of wires (3rd light wires)
    - unwrapped, cut wires (one at a time) and then wired in the flash box, used crimp connectors - yes, I have a real crimper
    - hot glued the wires back ot the headliner, glued flash box in between hard plastic supports
    - reverse order putting it together, took about 30 minutes

    Works great
