    Default LCD Radio Screen

Anyone know the cost on the LCD radio screen? Detailer screwed mine up (unintentionally) marred the hell out of it. And I don't want to hit him with the cost of a new one.

I researched the LCD screen a while back and wasn't able to source one by itself.

Did he say what he did to cause the damage? Something we should avoid?

I've seen the screen/controls assemblies on eBay for $150 to $200; that is just the screen and controls, not the head unit behind it.

So it must be available through the Dealer? Don't need the head unit nor controls just a replacement scree. Don't know WTF he used, but it destroyed it pretty good. Might have been Brillo. These screens are like your widescreen TV. Only use approved cleaning solution and a clean microcloth.

If you have the 6 disc changer radio then you need face plate part number 92228612 or 92219495 (I think)
    Depending on VIN
    92228612 - wholesale is $486.00
    92219495 - wholesale is $262.00
I am pretty sure it is just a color difference but check with your dealer as I am pretty sure it will have to be programmed.

I replaced mine a while back. It was a Delco part. I would have to see if I have the box somewhere. I got it off a dealer closing on Ebay.

There's a thread on the Adam's forums on the subject, although the damage there was caused by liquid, and the OP polished out the damage. Might be worth a try (couldn't hurt!).
