Default Brembo Rear Brake Upgrade - How would you invest?

Hey guys, just wondering what scenario you would be more inclined to invest your money in if you were in the market to do the rear Brembo Brake upgrade?

    1. Upgrade using Cheap Camaro Rotors + Handbrake Shoe + Caliper Adaptors
    - Advantages: Cheap Rotor OEM pull-offs @ 365x28mm (or DBA 4000 Series Brand New if wanting performance slotted rotors)
    - Costs: Approx $700-1400 depending on Rotor choice (OEM or DBA4000), being that the cost of the other kit from web vendors is $380+$185
    - Lead time: generally available now in limited quantities.

    2. Custom Brake Rotor by leading Manufacturer (DBA for arguements sake to compare apples with apples)
    - Advantages: No other modifications needed, Performance Slotted Rotor @ ~360x28mm ; Design can be matched to a DBA 4000 Camaro front rotor for equal rotor performance and looks. No caliper adaptors required.
    - Costs: Approx 700-800 for a DBA4000 spec rotor
    - Lead time: from manufacture to your door will be generally longer but may be worth the wait for some compared to purchasing 3 parts and dealing with other mods to be undertaken at the same time as the brake upgrade.

I am leaning towards #2. Would most of you pay more for a rotor that is a true replacement to suit your Brembo'd car, or is the notion going to be shot down because people can't justify paying double for a custom product over a mass producted product that is essentially the same shape, size and same materials (just more R&D and shipping involved really).

(ie $600 for DBA Camaro Rotors vs $800 for a DBA Custom Rotor that is generally the same as the cheaper one, just more exact to what we need). Could we lump the fact we get a little less for our money materialistically, but get something better suited in the long run?

Thanks for your thoughts And yes... you can read between the lines
