The Pedders Street II is doing well. But after a trip into New Orleans, I might go adjustables next time. OR the GXP struts/shocks. Will that work with the Pedders Springs?

I did get them installed this weekend. I tried running the rears with the 10mm drop but with my wheels(Breyton, +35 offset) it was too low and rubbing like crazy. So today I put the 15mm spacer back in which brings the spring seat back to height of the stock spring seat. The fronts for some reason are about 10mm higher than before. I'm hoping they just need to settle in or something. The car definitely feels stiffer. With my 20" wheels I can definitely feel the road more. Smooth roads feel great. I'm guessing if I were to use Lovells springs it might feel a little better but the H&R springs seem to work fine. Andy is a great vendor and worked with me so I could have all the parts this weekend to do the install. Thank you Andy!

I posted on the other board that if you replaced the strut bushings it may have caused the rise in the front, especially if your had collapsed. Did the struts come with the 15 mm spacer or did you have to purchase it. Mine sits pretty low in the rear already and rubs on my passenger side with a full tank of fuel

Actually, the rear end is higher. My rear is lowered more to even out the rake. Wheel well to tire height is deceiving.

My car is also lower in the rear and mine doesn't have a rake at all, pretty level stance.

Yeah I saw your reply, makes sense. The rear shocks come with a 10 and 15mm spacer. When I took the rear shocks out I compared the spring seats and with the 15mm spacer the seat was at the same level as the oem shocks so I went with no spacer at first. After driving it for a day and rubbing like crazy I took them out and put the 15mm spacer in.

Actually looking at my tape measure I believe the spacers are only 5 and 10mm. If you go with those make sure you use the right spacer the first time otherwise you have to take it apart again to add or remove spacers.

I know they are crazy expensive but the Pedders V8 supercar coilovers have separate, independant adjustments for compression and rebound damping. It was commented earlier that there is no damper set-up for drag racing, only auto-X. With the V8 supercar coilovers you can dial the front compression to full hard and the rebound to full soft to get drag shock kind of action. you can also play with the rear settings to help it squat and stay down.

If you want dampers that can be easily dialed in for daily driving, canyon carving, auto-x and drag racing, the V8 Supercar coils overs will allow it. I'm not suggesting that everybody needs these. I'm just pointing out that they are available and if your budget can stand it, they are a quality, item.

Just talked to Andy at Kolar, he's out of the lovell's and won't be in till mid July. Guess you got the last set of struts/shocks. I don't think anyone else has them.
