Ran 11.348@112.79mph at SIR but with some problems, step inside.

Few problems:
1. Spun on the 60' really bad
2. The car went nose down around 10ft from the time board. I heard a pop noise then car just basically shut off. I think i might have the rev limiter somehow, some people say that saw black smoke coming off the exhaust. The car seems to be fine, no issues. Talked to few folks and they said that my fuel pump might be fried but the car still runs just fine, did couple other WOT runs and it seems to be ok. The only new mod i have is that i removed the cats, not sure if i need to get tune. Any ideas on this guys? I'm still trying to find out what happened, don't know what to check, although, again the car seems to be fine.

Either way my previous personal best was 11.52@120mph, so i lost about 7.3mph on this run because of issue #2, I'm pretty confident that i would've run at 11.2 if this didn't happened... Oh well...

Hehe, no secret here, just a procharger D1SC with water/meth making about 10psi of boost.

Thanks! Yeah, i know is just because the car died before the end of the 1320... Still not sure what happened, maybe my fuel pump is about to die? Im running a KB BAP, maybe it stressed out the fuel pump too much...

Can all these 500+ whp cars PLEASE do up a real fuel system! I dont like reading about all the engine failures from these BS boostapumps failing the fuel pump.

Are you running a wideband?

check your oil fill and make sure your not puffing....... mine did the same thing almost..... ran ok but a bit down on power.... and all hell broke loose later on.... check for puffing... if you see puffing....then start to worry!!
