    Do not use the following (bcm) for gauge illumination!! :

    [size=5][color=#ff0000][size=2]

    everything else worked fine for me, but instead of using the bcm i had to use #8 on the headlight switch plug (yellow w/ silver). That is what you want to use for illumination. It's both the illumination, and dimmer output. the bcm #24 is only a relayed switch, which gooes to ground when the switch is moved into parking lights or headlight.

    hope this helps for the future!!
    For the OEM/authentic HSV gauges:

    Use pin #24 (WH/YE) on BCM connector C5/X5 per the HSV wiring!

    Here is a chart I modified that should help:

    I know its been awhile and I hate to revive a dead thread but what if you need an interior illumination wire that isn't dimmable, aka just a 12V constant source that comes on only when they rest of the interior lighting is on. Any thoughts on where to find that? The variable voltage killed my first gauge backlight inverter sadly
