This is a process called "poly doming" short for Polyurethane doming, which is a liquid we apply to the piece, which clears, hard and gives it a very nice, professional finish:

how big are the ones in the first post? Or does the customer specify that?
everything is made to customer specifics. I believe the ones shown are all about 6" wide though.

I really like these and I have an idea for you at Third Shift Studios. There's a lot of G8 owners that have bought the Weathertech Digifit mats for their cars. These mats come with labels on the front mats that have "Weathertech". The size of the labels are 4" x 1" and if you could make custom replacements I'd bet you'd get quite a few orders.
Can you does the above labels 4" X 1" like the ones in the fourth post "6.0 L76" with the "Poly Doming"? The letters look good slanted the way they are, but the label needs to have 90 degree edges and not slanted.
