The 7 pipe, or J pipe (looks more like a 7 on the V6 Camaro) is very effective in killing drone. Very little air enters those pipes...only sound waves. When we encounter drone, we use a device that measures frequency and see which one the drone occurs at. After we get that information, we plug it into a mathematical formula to determine the correct length of the J pipes. They are tuneable because we fabricated them in a way where you can adjust its length by a trombone to cancel out different frequencies. Once we get the proper length for the frequency we want to cancel out, then we have our product. The adjustment feature adds flexibility, as each car has its own unique behaviors.
