Default When going to kooks 1 7/8 shortie headers should you go one step colder on the plug?

Or by switching to headers it is irrelavant as it does not change combustion temperature temperature?

The rule of thumb is when adding about 100hp N/A go one step colder.

I am now getting a slight ping on wot in the tucson afternoons. 105-110 degrees out. i know. do not stomp on it. i know i need a tune as the cortex does not support headers. it is alot better when surprisingly i switched from chevron techron to shell v power. i will get some 100 octane before running it. alex, take care of those babies tonight!

i should of gotten that tune from Mike, Alex. But I just need to make sure he can save the stock tune to my lap top. oh well Dec. will be here before you know it.

Try a TR55. It is 1/2 heat range cooler.

thanks Charlie. Alex helped me put on the headers last week. Well he did most of the work as I was about to pass out. That is hard work that you do day in and day out. I know, you build a tolerance. I will try that.
