Default Any plans to create steering wheel logo for G8?

I'm very much liking the look of the custom emblems for the front and tail of the G8. Question: Is there a plan to create a replacement emblem that could fit in the steering wheel of the G8? It's the final and third emblem - keyfob excepted - on the car that'd need to be changed out. Not sure if it would pose a potential problem with airbag deployment or not, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask.

You can order a 50 MM Holden emblem and that will fit in the area where the Pontiac Arrowhead is located on the steering wheel. BUT. It does not cover it up and as others have found out a remove/replace is basically impossible. You have a couple of choices:

    1) Find someone who will fashion a black plastic matching piece to affix over the existing Pontiac Arrowhead on the steering wheel. The risk is in an airbag deployment the same plastic piece and logo could end up lodged in your head.

    2) Find someone to ship you a Holden airbag and steering wheel cover and replace the existing. Probably requires doing some semi-illegal activity as airbags are technically explosives and a DIY airbag replacement on your part, or farming it out to someone else. And it is going to be every expensive.

I have the 50 MM emblem myself, I'm going to have a company make the plastic circle so that it matches the interior finish and will mount it myself. Only thing I'm debating now is what adhesive to use to help mitigate the chance of ending up with a Holden logo jammed into my face like a shrieken post car accident.

Since this is in the Third Shift Studios forum, I believe the OP was specifically asking about Pontiac arrowhead emblems.

This is one of the things that has kept me from replacing my emblems. I want them all to match if I switch to the concept style emblems.

Yeah, I was hoping for a replacement for the dart on the wheel with a concept dart.

But I get the feeling that ending up with said ornament embedded in your (my!) forehead during a collision is a valid worry.

    Just don't wreck, HA!
But really, that is what i'm hesitant about. if my emblem ends up in your eye, you can sue me.

We could do the centercap overlays though.

Not if you make it sharp enough! But then you'd have to deal with the family, and that would be a whole new mess... It's a bit of a slippery slope.

But yeah, the wheel caps would be a nice touch.
