Remote start question

Should the radio/ac screen be on or off when the remote start button is pushed? Mines is always off, I read somewhere else that it should be on so I'm a little confused. Thanks

When i use Remote Start mine is always off till i put the key in the ignition and turn it. On a side note I took my key FOB apart and cleaned of the grease on the battery and contacts and now get more range, used a light sandpaper to get the black dots off.

you can turn the radio on manually any time you want...

Everything on mine is dark until the key goes in & is turned to run(w/the remote start going).

Ok I was just wondering If it was ok for it to have the a/c screen off when remote start is on
