Default kicker l7 15 too much?

i will be taking my $5000 dollar kicker sound sytem out of my car and putting it in my new g8. My only question is do you think the 2008 kicker l7 15 with my 1800 watt amplifier would be too much and overpower the stock vocals?
if i have to i can replace the interior speakers and amp them. but i would like to just add subs and be done.
all opinions are valuable and appreciated

I don't think its overkill. I run two 12's with about 1200 watts

Yes it def wil i have 2 12 inch solo classics with a 1200 watt Planet Audio and if i cut them up they dround out the stock highs the only reason i opt to do 2 subs is cause these only use like .88cubicfeet of air and they are dual 2ohms and planet audio runs 2 ohms so to get my 1200 watts i needed 2 of them but your original question i highly believe the 2008 kicker l7 15 even just 1 will be to much for the factory highs PM me pics after you get itin please i'd like to see it

Planet audio is great equipment but most have never heard of it I like the planet audio set up. I have JL audio 1000/1 and one 13w7 more than enough!

I had 2 12" L7's and a 2000 watt amp in mine. That thing bumped like hell until I blew the amp up. But no I dont think it was overkill. Sounded insane.
