everyone is knocking my shirt......lol. Yes I did jailbreak it. I use tvout 2 to image the phone on the screen. I also have AOLradio, I heart radio and some other radio apps. I have TomTom app installed and Navigon on my computer. Also sling player, 2 movies and about 700 songs.

I do have a few more questions for you though, ... if you would be so kind...

I have an Iphone 3GS (latest model) ...

1. Do you have to Jailbreak 'any' iPHone that's used?
2. What's the reason for Jailbreaking the iPhone for use like this "thru" the Stereo? ie, If you don't jailbreak, what doesn't work?
3. What do you mean by "I use TVout 2 to image the phone on the screen" ?? Is this (TVout 2) an iphone app, ...or ???
4. Which composite cable part number is required from JHP?

My main reason for doing this would be to easily be able to put songs on my iPhone, for listening to in the car on long trips, etc...
and also have the GPS show on the screen as well.

For tvout 2, you need to jailbreak. I used the first cables listed for $47. If you dont jailbreak, you cant get an app to mirror the image and it would be pointless. The iphone will only transfer video if your playing a movie or youtube. Once you jailbreak, the app is in cydia.
