Catted Bolt-On Midpipe for Kooks LT Headers

It would be louder for sure. Maybe not extremely louder since the cats are already high flow, but it would be louder. It would be the same as running a catless downpipe. I have had both on my Solstice...a catless downpipe and HF cat, and I would say that going catless was about 10% louder than having the HF cat in there.

What about a bolt-on X-crossover midpipe for people who want to do the resonator delete? You would be first company to sell a bolton midpipe for the stock G8 exhaust. I personally love the solo exhaust sound, but don't want my G8 to be loud since its my daily driver. I think there are several other people on here too who want their G8 to be just a little louder and more aggressive but don't want to take their car to an exhaust shop to have the resonators swapped out for an X-pipe.

That would be a custom job, and in order to make a jig for that, it would need a lot of interest and we would need a car in the shop to design it.

I was reading through this and I too would definitely also be interested in a straight bolt-on mid-pipe option, instead of buying the magnaflow one, some piping and hacking up the stock mid-pipe.
