    To out run Charlie you will need alot more than a 2200 torque converter with your stage 1 cam in your future mods..

    Unless you have a maggie or turbo in mind ...

    Torque Converter is a great mod BTW.. You will be happy.

    I've never seen one as low as 2200. I agree with Charlie, you'll need at least a 2800. They have very good street manners.

    Sure, BUT its not a fair test for you.

    Mine is a loose 3600 and you should use a tight 2800. Driving mine you may think "I don't like it", but your stall with your power would be nothing like it.

    Get a 2800 from Circle-D and tell Chris to make it just like Steve's.

    2800-3000 is nice on the street and will work well when you are at the strip. My kids love my converter

    I goose the throttle too much and catch myself looking at traffic through the door window as the stock tires sure don't like a 4k+ RPM flash. Like you said I think a bit lower and tighter would be better for a daily driver.
