According to my production guy, the vinyl shouldnt' have an issue sticking however the rubber could be negatively impacting that if it's not thoroughly cleaned with alcohol to remove any surface residue from the previous one and any silicone that might have been applied to the rubber from the factory.

I have never had a hard time getting the matching color for all my vehicles with weathertech. just the best mats.
