I'm looking to do the JRE Posi Mod to a 3.45 camaro diff. I've googled a bit and have struck out on instructions to get the diff out of the case, in particular, will I need to fab a case spreader? Anyone with first hand experience? A lot of chatter over on camaro5, but no first hand details on getting diff out of the case.

    TIA

FWIW, Popped right out after a 0.010" spread.

Any one have the proper torques spec for the bearing caps and cover bolts for Camaro diff?

(gasket and bolts in place for storage only.)

Fantastic Info! CP is the man.

i still have a question though...

is there a proper break-in procedure for a new or rebuilt diff?
i picked up a rebuilt gxp 3.70 diff. should i avoid launches for a while, or should i drive hard to wear it in?
    Thank You!
