Default Location of "rear auxillary input jack"

I purchased my 2008 G8 GT in early September. The owners manual indicates the availability/presence of a "rear auxillary input jack" on the radio. Thus far, three dealers have been unable to tell me how to access this jack. Any help in discovering its location and how to access it is greatly appreciated.

On the back side of the radio. Look in the DIY section and the Electronics section and you will see people putting it to use.

Must the radio be removed to access the jack. How "difficult" a project is it to access this jack?

I believe they are just removing the side console panel to access.

Is it not the same as the "front auxillary jack"? Which side panel is removed for access, driver or passenger?

Passenger side. It takes a special connector/cable to hook it up.

Its not the same, its a 3 wire connector I believe. passenger side i think. Do a search on "radio removal" on the other board.
