    Default Can't activate XM

I got my radio ID from a status email from OnStar. But I can't for the life of me figure out how to tune to channel 1 to receive the refresh signal from XM. TRACK cycles between SEARCHING NEWS and SEARCHING SPORTS. The presets all choose the news channel or the sports channel, both of which talk non-stop about Obama. DISC does nothing.

    I don't get it.

After you got the ID you did call XM to complete activation right??
You shouldn't have to tune to channnel 1 to refresh. Just
leave the radio on for 1/2 hour or so.

This is from my past experience with XM.
    This may have changed.

When you tell XMradio.com to refresh your radio, it says to tune to channel 1.

Ok, it finally worked. I just had to leave it alone, I guess.

Men are not much on patience. NOW is always better and more frustrating.

In my defense, I was just trying to follow the directions.
