sound system display does not always come on

This has happened to me twice since I bought the car beginning of last month. First time I started it up with remote starter, got in the car and the screen was dead, I shut off the car and the screen came on.
Today I drove all the way to work with the screen and red lights surrounding the screen blinking on and off approx once a second. I again tried shutting it on and off several times with no change. When I got to work and opened the door and shut it again it came on and has stayed on. Has anyone else experienced this? If it is a problem it's going to be a hard one to fix as it has only happened twice in 2500 miles.

Be sure the face-plate is pushed on fully.

Yes there has been posts about this issue. All returned to the Dealer and I believe it was a connection issue.

Thanks, I'll check the faceplate tomorrow and if it does it again back to the dealer it goes.
