    Default Boostapump wiring

Took a short drive and started getting wiring smoke inside the car. Freaked me out. Raced back to my daughters house and got pliers to disconnect battery.

When they did the paint job on the car, the ground wasn't hooked up. Started pulling wires and found it. Now I need to go buy a socket set without driving the car so I can get the back seat out.
Never ever leave the house without my tools again!
    Rest in Peace Charlie!

We sell this for like 30 bucks but you can find at big box stores or amazon too! Pretty small and useful in a pinch! Fits standard, metric, and even ARP! Item# CPTAW8!
Glad it wasn't more serious! I'm sure you were shitting yourself with the history you have! Ugh!

Yeah, got the wire cut off. Thank God it didn't burn all the away back to the boost a pump. Looked like the fuse just melted, but I removed a bundle of black tape so I'm not sure there was even a fuse. Waiting on my daughter to come home so we can get a fuse and some wiring and a new set of wiring pliers.
    Rest in Peace Charlie!

Did you piss off some guy named Murphy at some point in your life? Because his law seems to come into effect a lot with your car. Glad you got it all straightened out though.

Yeah. I'm need to replace the fiber pad now since it's a burn hole in it.
